Inventory has grown in many coastal markets, and rising insurance premiums and condo association assessments have changed how buyers shop. Orlando and Jacksonville have more new suburban construction, and St. In Tallahassee, state government and universities shape demand. Ask how the agent handles insurance quotes early in the contract, since a policy can change the cost of a house more than a small price cut.
